Macau 2015

Continuation of my trip from Hongkong was a day trip to Macau.

Upon arrival to Macau, I've noticed that the language were in Portuguese and knew that it was been administered by Portuguese Empire before.

To continue the destination, We had a wonderful and worth walking tour in Macau.

Museu of Macau
The place covered the historical and development of Macau. Enjoyed sightseeing the place.

Ruins of St. Paul
I've finally visited this place and really historical place. And still crowded even on weekdays and hard to take picture because of so many people in the background,

Below the Ruins of St. Paul, there's alot of stores and every store offers free taste of their products and that's the best thing I also want in Macau.

Even it's crowded, the view is nice.

Also beautiful view from the narrow streets.

They also offer free food taste of their meat products.

I've noticed that you can visit many places already in just one area of Macau.

Santo Domingo Church or St. Dominic's Church

Largo do Senado (Senado Square)
Surrounded by Portuguese architecture of beautiful and simple buildings and tiles. The city center and landmark to have the tour in Macau. A must see place.

Don't forget the water mountain in Senado Square

Casino in Macao

Many buildings light up with impressive view, The building structures were also stunning.

Grand Lisboa

During night time in Senado Square. It's romantic also to walk here because of the dim lights.

Town's Well Hotel - The hotel I've stayed. Accessible to all tourist spots in Macau like Senado Square, St. Paul Ruins and shopping areas.

Hongkong Trip 2015

Yay! I'm very happy that I experienced my second out of the country trip in July 2015. Macau  was also included because it's just near Hongkong. Anyway, I created another topic for my Macau trip in 2015.

To start with the adventure,

1st day - July 7, 2015:

1. Victoria Peak
Located in Orchard Central. There's a really nice view in this place. The weather is sunny that the view can really be seen especially the mountains and buildings.

2. Trick Eye Museum
Just passed by because it's in the same building of Victoria Peak.

3. The Peak Tram
Rode the Peak Tram to enjoy the Peak experience but rode it upon going to the lower terminus.

4. The Peninsula
Just took a city tour and passed by Tsim Sha Tsui going to the Avenue of Stars.

5. Hongkong Museum of Art
Located also in Tsim Sha Tsui

6. The Avenue of Stars
Located in Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront. There are  a lot of people here even on weekdays. The most notable people for foreigners here are Jackie Chan and Jet Li. People were waiting their turns to have picture taken with Jackie Chan and Jet Li and I did the same.

7. Symphony of Lights
Same place as the Avenue of Stars. Toured the city while waiting for the show until 8pm onwards to see this one but it didn't happened. So, just took pictures of the place.

2nd day - July 8, 2015:

1. Ocean Park
It should be Disneyland but we decided it should be this for the 2nd day because of the updates that the  weather will not be okay on the 3rd day.

And the most awaited rides that I couldn't believe that I can try because they're scary.

But to my surprise, I can actually ride them. It's true you cannot experience Ocean Park without trying the rides especially the Hair Raiser, Arctic Blast and The Flash. I really want to have another ride but to do so, I have to wait in a long queue of people.

2. Wong Tai Sin Temple
Located in Kowloon City and one of the major tourist attraction in Hong Kong. The temple is famed for the many prayers and wishes answered.  I really like the structured and design temples and also, the people's tradition of doing their prayers there.

 3. Kowloon Walled City Park
Located in Kowloon City District and there are some historical artefacts from the walled city. The park is really nice and peaceful. Sometimes, I preferred to just have some-nature trip like this one peaceful and historical that you can learn something from it.

One of my favorite place in Kowloon Walled City is the Lung Nam Pavilion in the southwest corner of the park because of its beautiful nature scenery.

4. Temple Street Night Market
It's really a nice thing to know that you can shop anything at night near your place. There are many store stalls that you can choose from -clothing, accessories, shoes, gadgets, souvenirs and so on. Also, my favorite are the food stalls especially the local food in Hong Kong that I want to try.

The thing is I haven't bought anything from the Temple Street Market except for the food. It's just that I haven't seen the things I want to buy there even though tried to have a third look. I liked the cat toy I saw there but it was too expensive for me.

3rd day - July 9, 2015:

1. Disneyland
Actually, I planned not to go to this place but try another nature and city trip in Hongkong but I decided to have to try it because its one of the known tourist attractions in Hongkong. I enjoyed this place even though I've only tried the indoor rides because of the weather news that the weather will not be okay, that's why outdoor rides were not available that time. Another thing was I didn't watch the Disney Parade because it was cancelled and the attractions would be closed for the day because of the weather. But at least we enjoyed the day.

2. Temple Street Night Market
Another tour in this place we visited because it's close by. I had a plan to meet a friend but we cancelled it due to the bad weather condition. I found it puzzling though that it didn't rain although there was an announcement of the approaching typhoon.

I also observed that many stores were closed and many office works were cancelled even though it's just a low weather warning.

So, I've tried another local food in Temple Street Night Market.

4th day - July 10, 2015

1. Jordan Road
Just one last city tour near in Hang Fung Hostel before I leave the place where I stayed.

2. Tim Ho Wan
North Point - Had lunch before going to Macau.

3. The Hong Kong - Macau Ferry Terminal
Macau is just really near in Hong Kong.
5th day - July 11, 2015

1. Macau Airport

I've also created video compilation for this trip
